THE REPUBLICAN EXHIBITION “I AM MONET. I’M SHISHKIN. I AM MALEVICH”, 2018

The republican exhibition “I am Monet. I’m Shishkin. Ya Malevich”, National Center for Contemporary Arts, Minsk, Belarus, 2018. Lora Pavlova is a participant in the exhibition with the painting “Lupines”, which is included in the exhibition catalog.

The exhibition, which will feature every artist who brought a work within the allotted time, will be held at the National Center for Contemporary Arts in 2018 from March 7 to April 22.

Works of fine art, including those using new media, as well as audiovisual and spectacular art, were accepted to participate in the exhibition for demonstration during the exhibition days. As a result of the three-day campaign, the works of 323 artists were included in the exhibition.

Based on the experience of the First All-Belarusian Art Exhibition, which was held with tremendous success in February 2017 and attracted 661 artists and more than 5,000 spectators in 4 weeks, the curators invited artists working in any techniques (painting, graphics, sculpture), including using new media, to participate in the exhibition., regardless of the artist’s gender, age, social status and religion, status or non-status in professional art unions, presence or absence of special education and previous exhibition experience. The works were placed in the exhibition space as they arrived.

Each visitor to the exhibition will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite works, and by simply counting the votes, the winners of the audience vote will be determined. Each participating artist will receive a subscription for permanent attendance of the exhibition and an exhibition catalog with the works of all participants.
